Along with Samsung Galaxy W and Samsung Galaxy M Pro the other two mobile which are announced by Samsung this week are Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro. All the four mobile phone will be showcase at the Samsung UnPacked event to be held on September 1, 2011 in Germany.
Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Pro are entry-level Android based mobile phone. Galaxy Y is targeted towards the young audience with age group from 17 years to 22 years and Galaxy Y Pro is an affordable smartphone for those who wants to have faster typing along with Android experience as it has QWERTY layout keypad.
Samsung Galaxy Y Features
The Galaxy Y sports Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system with 830 MHz processor. It has got 3 inches display screwen along with 320 x 240 pixel resolution.
The camera has 2 mega pixel clarity and it’s a 3G mobile phone. One would love data connectivity on this mobile phone which is possible through the 3G HSDPA connectivity with a maximum speed of 7.2 Mbps and included Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. The wireless file sharing can be done through Bluetooth v 3.0 which is the latest version. . It includes a 4 GB internal memory and the expandable memory can be of up to 32 GB using the microSD card slot.

Galaxy Y Pro has 2.6 inches capacitive touchscreen display along with QWERTY keypad layout. Along with that user gets the taste of Android operating system powered by Google through 2.3 Gingerbread version included in this mobile phone.
It runs 800 MHz single core processor along with 3G data connectivity with a top speed of 7.2 Mbps using HSDPA and it includes Wi-FI 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v 3.0. It features 2 mega pixel camera.
