The successor of Optimus 3D has finally arrived and it seems like LG has lost its love with 3D phones even though Optimus 3D wasn’t a big hit. For LG Electronics, the South Korean manufacturer of mobiles, it has been a dream start for the year 2012 as planned. From back to back smartphones announcement, their idea looks pretty much clear that they want to compete with its South Korean counterpart i.e., Samsung. With couple of handsets launched during the Consumer Electronics Show early next month and few other smartphones coming this Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Just before the Mobile World Congress, LG has made it clear by announcing various phones like Optimus Vu which is a 5 inches smartphone which will eventually compete with Galaxy Note, LG L Style Mobile phones with Optimus L3, L5 and L7 and LG Optimus LTE Tag was introduced with NFC chip similar to Sony Smart Tags to change the profile wherever you go automatically.

Optimus 3D Max includes the glasses free 3D display technology with 4.3 inches display screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 display preventing it from any scratches or normal wear and tear. It will have most of the specifications same as that of Optimus 3D Cube.
The phone comes with NFC Support with LG Tag + offering advanced NFC capabilities. LG Tag + will allow users to automatically change their profile in accordance with the profile settings that they want. The phone will be available with new app in the first maintenance release coming out with HD converter which will provide HD quality on a TV via Mobile High Definition Link where it transforms Open GL based 2D games and application to 3D viewing and 3D pictures. Range finder is another application which comes pre installed in this mobile phone which will allow users to calculate the distance between the camera and the object along with the dimension of the object. The Android operating system included in this mobile phone first will be Android 2.3 Gingerbread, following with maintenance update in coming months it will be Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
