Going through the specifications of newly announced i Tab by Intex, certainly it’s not among the commonly spotted 7 inches tablets. It comes with 8 inches capacitive two point touch screen display. With 5000 mAh strong battery the tablets claims to provide a backup time of atleast 6 hours minimum.

It has front facing camera which can be used for video chat and video calls and to provide office suite works; it comes with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point viewer. And it comes with pre-loaded applications such as Adobe Reader, Angry Birds which is the famous games, Solitaire, Talking Tom and lot more on this application. You can install more Android applications by going through the Android Play Store which was previously known as the Android Market. Weighting at 475 grams this is the perfect choice for the users who love to carry entertainment at their perk. It comes within built GPS position tracking system on Google Maps and 3.5 mm headset jack.
During the launch Intex Technologies general manager announced that iTab will certainly offer an entertaining, enriching and engaging experience to the consumer who buys this. Intex will expand its portfolio by introducing new variants of this tablet in the form of various form factors like 7 inches variant and 10 inches variant of the same.
As an introductory offer, Intex offers this tablet bundled with other free goodies like Intex 3G data card, LAN Adapter, exclusive leather cover for the tablet and a pair of Reebok sunglasses. i-Tab can be brought at various retailers like Reliance Digital, Bajaj Electronics, Digital Shoppy and other retailers throughout the country. Intex have priced this tablet at Rs 11,900 and this is an impressive launch. Certainly Intex wouldn’t be among the best alternatives to the Aakash tablet. If you are a $ 35 Aakash tablet fan boy then stop dreaming about it and looks for its alternative as the Datawind deals with Government is cancelled.
If you take our verdict, there is nothing much interesting in the tablet as the specifications remain same just like other tablets in the market.
