Source 2 Engine On It's Way

The clever people over at ValveTime have found some hidden secrets within Valve's Source Filmmaker script files. They delved deep in to the files and found at least 60+ references to Source 2 and the fact that it is a next gen engine.

One example is:

Return an str with the current engine version. If key doesn't doesn't exist, assume 'Source', otherwise invalid -- assume next-gen 'Source 2'

Could this be why we are still waiting for some new version of Half-Life, we can only hope thats the case.
